Is this a bit weird?

Wouldn't say strange, just unconventional. Sounds pretty cool to me and at least she's open about what she wants for her birthday. Having to 2nd guess and get it wrong.... I don't like that, it makes me  and :(

I always found the idea that people ask for/expect things on their birthday rather selfish/rude and it perplexes me.

Maybe it's the way you put it though :)

I wouldn't say it was strange or unconventional at all. Mrs Asprilla took me to see it and I know loads of chicks who have. It's a science / art exhibition, what's the issue with her wanting to go and see it?

If it was an exhibition into Tutenkahmun including his treasures / artworks and stuff about mummification, would it be aby different?

Not, its not like that. She saw that it was on in Manchester a while back and wanted to go but didnt have time. Here mum has seen its now on at the O2 and has suggested it to her for her birthday.

I'd like to see this, is it on now?

Its on in the O2 untill August I think.

The more I think about it the more I cant wait. Spoke to my boss who saw it in Manchester and she said it was absolutely amazing. For me its a chance to see something I normally wouldnt be able too.

She will have great fun answering people who ask her "so, what are you doing for your 21st?" :)

i asked me boyfriend to take me when it came to manchester! dont think its weird at all. its actually very interesting

No, I know the exhibition is fine, cant wait now actually. I think its just an odd choice for a 21st Birthday present.
