Right theres a lot of talk on the internet about what to eat what not eat what to eat but in the right amounts etc etc.

Can anyone basically just tell me exactly what food to eat everyday to ensure my skin/hair look great, i'm getting all I need and if I want to put on muscle mass I just have to eat more of it or lose weight just less of it :P

I run a lot and gym probably 3-4 times a week, at the moment i'm cutting down my bodyfat% until I feel its low enough then i'm going to bulk for a bit.

I tend to take 2 protein shakes a day even when cutting down - is this ok? It's whey protein. But I do jog a lot I can jog 7 miles a day comfortably or push myself to 14 and maybe take a day off due to knee pains.

There's no such thing as a perfect diet and certainly not one that would be perfect for everyone, what you want is something that works for you. Some diets are certainly better than others but they would tend to be the ones with a good mixture of foods.

It might help here if you post what you eat during an average week, if you've got any specific dietary (or other requirements) that might impact on what you eat and then someone who knows more than me could probably pick it apart and give you advice.

There's no such thing as a perfect diet. It's all about balance, eating seasonal vegetables/foods (IMO), and eating well.

If you want good hair/skin/body, you need to eat plenty of fresh vegetables, some fruit, a good couple of portions of fish a week, and a varied bit of everything, meats, seeds, pulses, root vegetables, nuts, oils, fats etc... There's no magic recipe.

steel girders. look at how strong (some) skyscapers are!

lets end this, earth... strong planets, planets.... solar systems, dark matter/matter.....universe.

in reality, make sure you get omega's as almost everything in your body will generally improve with it, vits, minerals, etc, etc, eat a varied diet with no crap in it, Is it really that hard to spot what foods are bad and what are good?

lol at some answers.

Freefaller has your answer there. Never too much of anything but small amounts of everything!

My diet is preety shoddy to be honest, I eat different things theres no set routine, my mum cooks for me and it's always basically curries/chips/pasta/chicken sandwiches and what not. Think I need to learn to cook myself. What's so bad about protein shakes? I tend to take them because I feel I recover quicker when taking them.

There's nothing bad about them.

You should just remember that they're supplements and supplements only. Therefore as suggested above, it's a mixture of good food is what you should be focusing on.
