So theres been a couple of rumours of the bouts scheduled for UFC 100 and 101 that are quite nice...

For UFC 100:

BJ Penn V Kenny Florian
GSP V Thiago Alves
Brock Lesnar V Frank Mir
Michael Bisping V Dan Henderson

For UFC 101:
Randy Couture V "minotauro" Nogueira

I cant wait for both these events... the BJ - Kenflo fight looks brilliant and couture minotauro is a dream matchup that a lot of people have been waiting for for years...

That line up for UFC 100, would be the best ever and I know that all of them are in the pipeline anyway.

As for Randy, he would stand a chance against Nog, who looked an old man in his last fight, but so did Randy in his last match and I wish he would retire now, but then again, I've said this before.

Brock versus Mir is the one im looking forward too.

If penn fights like his last then it should be Florians night hopefully. GSP looks unstopable at the moment and if this line up is true then it will be one of the best in a long while.

When are they scheduled?. does anyone know?.

ooo 100 looks very interesting. though given the number you would expect something a little special :]

Thaat is only part of the planned card from what people have been saying they plan on putting on a bigger card than normal, as in more big fights than a standard card...

Announced today was UFC 98 on may 23rd which features:

Brock Lesnar V Frank Mir 2
Matt Hughes V Matt Serra
Frank Edgar vs. Sean Sherk
Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Wilson

Also announced was UFC 99 in cologne, Germany where the headline fight will be:

98 has turned out to be a great card. Can't wait to see Sherk fight again and for sure i'll love to see Lesnar beat Mir.

If lesnar can learn at least a competent ju jitsu ground game i cant see anyone beating him... at the moment being on the ground is his only weakness i think..

I can understand quite a few people not warming to Lesnar and such, but whats Sherk done?

Sherk is pretty one dimensional as a MMA fighter. I respect that his wrestling overwhelmed a lot of good fights for him to hold the lightweight belt for as long as he did.

But his standup is quite weak. I reckon if he were to fight ken-flo now it would be a different fight.

And i think hes a tool :p IMO

I'm sorry but i really have to dis-agree with Sherks standup being weak. He is a great kickboxer and sets up for his takedowns with great combinations. If he was in 100% condition and had a better game plan he would have taken BJ. His cardio is possibly the best in MMA and has a great work ethic.

Sherk has only ever lost to three fighters, GSP (possibly the best WW of all time), Matt Hughes when he was in his prime, and finally BJ. Those are all top top fighters. All past champions. Also Hughes and GSP are a weight class above him.

I personally think he is a much better fighter than you are giving him credit for.

I see why you say that, and if you look at his record he has fought a lot of great fighters.

HOWEVER you say it yourself hes only ever lost to elite fighters. He has not improved as a fighter (IMO) and most of the good fighters he has beaten was by Unanimous decision (last 4 wins) which to me is because he relys on his wrestling to overpower and control.

I think he is an awesome wrestler and is always in great shape. But his short arms and fairly basic boxing are not at the same level as his wrestling.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree :D
