Bravo...now thats actually a really good price :D

DDR3 is rapidly getting cheaper; at this rate its going to be the same price as DDR2 with a few months; which is always good for the consumer; as the tighter timing versions will come down too!

i assume it will match up lovely with my new quad Q8200 chip.

Potentially you'd be able to provide more memory bandwidth to your system (minor gains), but also if you overclock, if you're pushing for high FSB, DDR3 will be less limiting than DDR2 due the higher native clocks.

ok cool. so if i managed to sell my 4gig of ocz and bought this i'd noice some gains. may try that.
