Slightly cheaper batch from suppliers has brought the price down a bit. There is also a slight discount due to it being a bundle. Memory prices change by the hour mate - a hell of a lot can happen in a week.

8GB filling all 4 slots on any board generally puts more 'work' through the motherboard's NB (North Bridge)/ Chipset. 99.9% of stability with regard to this can be fixed by upping the NB voltage by a notch or two.

Kingston do a special RMA for our customers. Return the RAM to us and we can have the whole kit and kaboodle sorted in around 48 hours in most cases. The RMA serice is UK based so this basically speeds things up incredibly.

Many RAM manufacturer's RMA to the USA or Taiwan and ask for 28 days to be allowed for processing.

If you sent your Kingston back to OcUK's offices arriving with us on a Monday, you'll be looking at Thurs/ Friday back at your door in most cases.

Sold over 500 of these since last Wednesday...Not a single set back yet

Yep, some boards it runs fine on - just depends on the chipset and what VRMs and caps are used.

4GB is usually fine for gaming but RTS's and games like Crysis will benefit from 8GB.

Not a problem, but be aware... I can almost 100% guarantee that you will need to up the NB a notch or two, I had to when running with all the dimms filled, as have lots of others

ive got 8GB of this running on my Gigabyte GA-MA790X, only had a small problem when installing vista which was fixed by taking 4gb out then putting it back in after the install
