Really? I thought they were on par when OC'd....

...which would make this uber cheap 260 a very good deal.

Though I got my 4870 1GB for £140 from MM on here, so I won't be going for this :)
 
aye it's the older version with the 192 pipes/cores what have you. It's a decent card don't get me wrong but the 1GB 4870 is nearer 280 performance.

Yeah - at present the PC (main hardware and MM case) has only cost around £900.

Will be interesting to see what kind of performance increase i get. :)

Taken a while to get the extra watercooling kit to work with the mobo. I almost picked up an Alphacool SLi waterblock for the SB but decided it would be far to restrictive so went with an air cooling heatsink instead.

Will be fitting it all during the first part of this week and then start clocking the Phenom II so i should have performance results towards next weekend.
