What is your passion?

Music (Starting a band with my best friend is hands down the best decision I've ever made)
Cooking (Really relaxes me and something I've increasingly enjoyed doing over the last few years. Almost to the point where I wished I'd considered it as a carrer option earlier in life)

Kinda depends on the herb your using ;) diffrent herbs do diffrent things Ginger is a stimulant Valerium ain't. It won't make you instantly happy (thats MDMA your thinking of, nasty chemical S***) but it can help give you a little boost in the right direction when you need it sometimes.
I drink a lot of ginger tea for my voice. It doesn't stimulate me.

Riding bikes, of any sort, anywhere.

Diffrent people people experience diffrent effects at diffrent levels and are more or less 'suceptable' to some things than others, but if your talking about some packaged thing from the super market rather than the real fruit/herb/spice then it really just doesn't compare

Scuba Diving
Driving
Cars
Women (esp my wife :) )
music
insatiable quest for knowledge
travelling.

I have a passion for trying to get the Mrs to have sex with me.. Although this is a bit hard (excuse pun) at the moment. My 12 month old Y-front collection have not quite worn out yet!

Aviation, in particular commercial aviation - more specifically modern Boeing airliners and their flight systems.

Give me a folder full of technical information and I'll be lost from the world until it's all been read, digested and understood.

I find the whole thing fascinating - as an amazing feat of engineering and techical achievement.

And once I've gone through the 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 it'll be on to the Airbi.

Can't wait to get my head around normal, direct etc law, alpha floor and alpha prot, the logic behind it and how it translates through the flight surfaces to the aircraft and through the flight deck to the airmen up front :)

No of course not. I wouldn't drink supermarket ginger tea ever.

Snowboarding, I've been in love with going snowboarding for over half my life now and I can't see that changing. Unfortunately I've never done "a season" and time is perhaps running out for me to do so but nevermind.

Climbing is something I've rather taken to at the moment, indoors only so far and I don't know whether I'll continue with it over the longer term but it's a new challenge which is appealing.

Reading - although I don't read anywhere near as much as I used to, I actively look forward to holidays where I'll get a good few hours uninterrupted to read a couple of books.

Music, computers, shocking somebody every week with the fact that I don't like football.

Pretty much this - though I love playing football. However (when I'm well and feeling good) ambition - a hope for something better is very important! Does that answer the question? Not sure.

Also @ Nix: This isn't the best place to discuss it so I won't go into detail. I've had some experience with depression also (sounds like you have some symptoms of it). If you want to email me (you can use my msn login) or add me on msn feel more than welcome. Its one of my favourite subjects :P. Sounds like you have quite a good grasp of whats going on but you should take +ive steps to get better (on re-read that sounds ghey, sorry and I know advice like that isn't always helpful). And from personal experience I can highly recommend work (if you feel at all able), no matter how poorly paid or crap, for just taking your mind off things.
