Yup. Anyone can join the chat channel. A whole bunch of the regulars in the OCUK channel aren't in the corp!

I suggest joining the corp because it's as good a place to start as any. There's no obligation to stay :) Plus that will give you access to the OCPS forums, which is full of useful info.
 
Yup I think I will apply this evening. I am concentrating on mining for the time being, and want to get good at that and misisons to get a nice steady income, then start learning about small scale PvP as I am clueless but really want to have a go :)
 
If you need any isks Phoen1x, give us a shout and ill send some your way to make it a little easier for you. At least enough for books lol..

Caldari Achura - I am trained up in Caldari up to BC level and can run L3 missions (or at least I could when I last played over a year ago) - I am starting over as a miner/industrialist and have no skills at all bar mining and industry 2, so it's like being a new character all over :)
 
If you can, and its a big IF, train amarr BS, get an apoc and mine in that until you can get a fitted HULK. Nothing else beats the APOC for mining really. IMO. 8 miner 2's + drones, good mining ship. Faster than the 1st ORE exhumer and on par with the 2nd exhumer.

hmmm a Rokh might also be good i guess as its a gunboat? i am closer to that in training too
 
I like LVL 1's in a good skilled char and a nicely setup punisher. :)
engage > orbit > lock > pop > engage > orbit > lock > pop > engage > orbit > lock > pop..
Warp to... isky :) rinse and repeat. :D

By the time you've saved up the 300mil to buy and fit that ship you could have an awful lot of skills you dont currently ;)
 
Get yourself a Bantam, which has bonuses to mining, or a Cormorant... with the right gear on a Cormorant you can fill that baby with huge amounts of Ore :) and have a bunch of mining lasers! A Cormorant will out-mine a Bantam with 5 named lasers. It also has 450m3 of cargo and if you're worried about rats can also defend itself at range.

Oh... and with an afterburner does 460m/s... which is possibly of more use to me than you, but fun anyway ;)

JOIN button

type ocuk and hit join, that should be it i think.
 
Our corp has just moved into 0.0 and claimed a system. I finally got to use my Dread for killing a POS.

Empire is ok for the first few months but I am having so much more fun in 0.0.
