What an annoying place for the PSN notifications to appear in though, the 360's are centre-bottom.

You'll beat him yet :p
 
Well, I must be better than I used to be after all my whining about Seth as I now managed to do the entire game on Hardest, 3 rounds without dropping a round.

How do you do against real people though, as I can complete hardest 5 rounds and get a perfect every match with Zangief but I really suck against people.

The AI, even on hardest, doesn't seem to understand hit priority. With zangief you can complete it on hardest by simply lariating as the AI will try to attack but take damage due to his huge hit priority. The AI seems to deal with other characters much better, try completing it on hardest with any other character and it is nowhere near as easy. I managed hardest with the gief but can't even complete it on medium without using continues with abel.

Done it with Ryu too, like you say I just use high priority hits and they always walk into my Ultras. Seth was a nobber on the third round though.

I tend to turn music off in games. For the 1st week or so it is on, then it get's turned off. If I want to listen to music I just have the laptop near me tbh. Much easier to turn off when things get tense etc.

Yeah, I been spamming buttons in between rounds for years!!! I have no-one to blame but myself when the stick eventually breaks :).

You think the notifications are annoying, it's only because I am playing people online recently I turned them back on!!! In most games there is something important in the top right hand corner so I can't be dealing with it!!! So many games are lost because of a notification!! Once I'm bored of SFIV online and KZ2 I am turning them back off.

Anyone else worked out how to stop those Focus Attack spam people? i.e. When you get knocked down they stand next to you, fully charge a focus and repeat.
I tried the get up quick method but most of the time it's not quick enough.

I use quick getup then hold jump, or ducking light punches.

either quick getup or stay down, depending on their timing.

if they are being really obvious and stay there with level 3 focus attack all the time then absolutely muller them with high priority EX move, they will lose a lot of health for it, like 1/4 hp as they will absorb damage + ex attack damage.

what you need to be careful of is people who bait you on wake with focus attacks/cancels in which case its a judgement call. character dependant of course.
 
Finally managed my 10 ranked wins on the trot. Thought I had lost the 7th one 2-0 but the guy had it on best of 5 and I won the last 3 rounds, delighted :D

then you should save some meter in preperation for that ;)

failing that any high priority 2 hit special is fine, or even as kree said 2 quick jabs can get you out of it too
 
Has anyone beat Ojste here apart from me? 1 Win here for me ;)

Also what does AWE mean? I've been hearing that phrase since call of duty in 2001 and have never found out what it means?

Was thinking of challenging him again yesterday to see if i'd learnt anything but wasnt sure if i was ready to take him on.

Started ranked matches yesterday. Only got 550bp. All i got was spammers. How do you counter spammers? Say for instance Sagat with his stupid Fire Truck move...

Had this one match with Vega and all he did was jump around. He was trying to use his ultra but i kept on him for about 60 seconds throwing everything i had and then he eventually pulled it off.

It was so crazy I wish I had a camera to record it.
