I loved the second one! I think my copy is in the loft of my parents house somewhere. This thread has reminded me that next time I'm up there I will have to dig it out!

I didn't even realise they were making a third one. I will definatly try and keep an eye on this one from now on.

Seriously why do they make a body of water look amazing (and this applies to many many games) but then completely fail to make the water meet the land in a realistic manner?

I didn't even know there was a second one.

The first one was basically Sim City but with a tropical island, having to deal with manufacturing products and the influx of tourists.

Tropico is a small island sim.

The first was bad so never bothered with the 2nd. I don't care how good they try and make the 3rd, if they don't make it a game worth playing I just wont bother!

First one was great. Never tried the 2nd one as I wasn't too keen on the pirate theme.

What is the scheduled release date of Tropico 3?
I presume the computer specs for this game must be pretty high, as Ive never seen a Sim City style game with graphics that even come close to Tropico 3's.
