Noctua NH-U12P - Attaching the Fan - Impossible

Hey, im now on my 2nd Noctua NH-U12P after snapping and breaking the first one to bits in utter fustration trying to get the FAN on the cooler with the stupid metal clip.

How the **** do you attach it and secure. I've spent nearly 8 hours trying to install and im about to snap my second in 1 day.

Any ideas? Pictures videos etc. I tried youtube but did not help one bit.

By the way if you break your fan, contact noctua for an rma, they will send you a new fan free of charge
