Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Just had a rather embarrassing match. Was fighting a ken player who relied on his fireballs to win so all he would do was jump backwards to try and keep his distance from me. Clearly he didn't often fight abel as he has one of the fastest sprints and easily caught up with him. After i won the first round he just started shouting profanities down his headset, i had the volume up quite high and didn't have my headset connected so it came blaring out of my speakers. The girlfriend wasn't impressed to say the least D:

Just school'd someone who dared to pick Ken.

Ken Vs. Ken

Still, always funny when you can hear someone muttering whilst you're landing 20 hit combos haha

Whats everyone playing this with - PS3/360 controller or do you all have fight sticks?

I was wondering that to. I use the controller. I don't know what the sticks are like nor how much they cost?

Anyone know what AWE means from my earlier post? Also how to counter spammers like Sagat with his Fire Truck?

Mine is still going strong thankfully, seems I avoided the bad batches or whatever. :D

£70

Yeah it's doable for the standard stuff but the lack of 6 face buttons = ugh

Using L1/R1 for HP/HK and R2/L2 for the KKK/PPP buttons is a mess.

Do the sticks actually make people better fighters??

I tried to imagine my self using the stick and hitting the buttons but i'm right handed so i'm not sure how well i'd do and i couldn't really see my self being able to move the stick faster than my thumb rolls down the dpad. :S

I can do stuff with the pad I couldn't do with the stick. :)

It seemed bad at first, but I've adjusted quite well to using it, I still need more practice but I'm a lot better than when I used the pad/first started using the stick.

I think that'd be pretty weird for me. I've only ever used the controller. No matter what game. I used it with ex plus alpha aswell. I may have used that little Bug controller when i used to play street fighter on the amiga lol.

I think someone posted a pic of the Bug a couple of weeks ago.

I've only ever used the controller, I never liked arcade sticks in the arcade either.

I love this one though.

Another thing that puts me off other than price is where i would put it as i have no desk infront of me when playing. I'd probably be all over the place if i had it on my lap.

I played it on my lap, it was fine but a few days ago I found a spare table as I prefer leaning forward, but that's just a comfort thing. ;)

Yah i was looking for a small table for other stuff. I'd like something that could be collapsable but couldn't find anything.

Also i tend to stand up if something happens like a crazy combo or i do my ultra and i know it's going to finish them.

I get too exited.
