Finally got my uni assignment done :) now some time is set aside to start my first season on the new patch :D with barcelona
 
I have done in the past. You could:

Save the game before a match and reload if you lose
Take over a team and sell players to yourself cheap/sell your players to them for a lot

That's how else there is! :D

Or you can take over the team you face next and make all their players play in defence. Or as strikers. ;)
 
I don't cheat, I get through this game by being a good manager ;)

It's not really a game if you cheat :/ Takes the fun out of it in my opinion.

I agree with rat aswell, I actually brought him in as a relatively cheap backup, I always buy him at Rangers but I thought I could rely on him for City, he has started getting a game ahead of Bridge recently as he has went off form, the two of them though are my LB's for the forseeable future I reckon.

I just need a class striker, tried to get Villa but Valencia wanted an absured amount of cash, had an offer accepted for Zlatan (I didnt have the cash, just wanted to check if he would come) but he wouldnt even listen to any offers :(

I started a game with Man City before the new patch and made the mistake of buying Heskey, thinking he would just win everything in the air for me but that never quite worked. Only got Bellamy, Ibisevic, Pandev and Gignac, the cheapest of the lot and has scored the most goals! Of course city have 2 or 3 strikers sitting injured aswell

Cheers, I was going to go for Love but didnt like his teamwork/work rate and thought it mind hinder him as a lone striker for me, then real madrid went and signed him :(

Aguero was another I tried to get but atletico wanted a crazy amount for him, I think I ll try at the end of the season!
 
Balotelli! he is not great when you first get him but if you have good coaches and give him some experience he turns out absolutely amazing..
 
Vagner Love is probably the best signing in the 9.3 patch. He will score a bucket load for you. Definitely worth signing under £20m anyway. Although i do really like David Villa, i'd get Aguero, Rossi (£18-21.5m release fee) or Vagner Love.

Depends what kind of striker you need though. Fast, target, etc.

Bought for £14m in current season. 9 starts, 11 appearances overall, 9 goals. :) Worth £13.75m though. :confused:

Injured for about another week or so thanks to ruddy international games. Anderson as well. :mad:

I haven't played enough in the new patch, but in the old patch that annoyed the hell out of me. I'd be very careful trying to keep my top players on a sensible training program, and not playing them when they were tired. Then, they go away for an international, and bang, injured. Happened way too much to be coincidence or bad luck :(

Was it ever acknowledged as a bug?
 
Struggling in my Rimini game, spent £1.2m on a great youngster for a DC, but he can't come till end of season!

By struggling, i mean struggling;

VERY weak in DC, just signed Zebina and Jankulovski for DL/DR, though. And also a young ST which isn't pictured.

Any ideas for free/loans? Trying Cannavaro but he wont even though hes in AC's reserves! :(
