its an x5, sure the engine is nice but its an x5, i had the 4.8, its was awful

put the engine in something worthy and ill pay it lip service all day long
 
It's still a 4X4. 4X4s are not built for the track. There's no point in giving a 4X4 a massive engine because all it's ever gonna do is improve straight line acceleration.

Oh yeah? Could have fooled me, looks pretty damn good on the track from where I'm sitting.

One day you'll post something that isn't complete garbage and we will all be left in shock.

its all based on personal opinion, but the cayenne for me is not only a more capable car but its also reasonably good looking, although i do prefer the q7

of course if in your opinion the x5 is godlike I cant really argue with that as no-ones opinion can ever be wrong just arguably mis-guided :p

I'm not any kind of yes man, be sure of that. I don't mind however saying I'm not likley going to be owning an x5 at anytime in the future as they aren't really my thing. This particular one featured (OP) is no doubt a very special thing. I am sorry if seeing the unique one in the vid happened to bring back any traumatic memories for you at all.

Cayennes are a very photogenic car, it's weird but in the flesh it comes unstuck a bit for me, not terribly, it's just quirky somehow. That is just my opinion on looks. I've never driven a Cayenne but Clakson went bonkers iirc and I've not seen a bad driving report on one yet. One of my neighbours some way up the road has one and when I walk my dog I see it every other day. That one is in black also which helps.

I do like the 911's so please do hide that before I start pestering you for a go in the thing lol.

I guess to conclude I can see both sides of this deal. Your point as a somewhat unhappy ex owner (be glad you didn't go diesel turbo anyway), and mine being sort of respectful to what has happened to this x5, the result of which which I do like.

I guess the laws of physics don't apply to your logic then. Are we watching the same video because it looks pretty average.

From a visual perspective it does, and from a driving perspective it wasn't being driven particularly hard imho. But it sounds wooooooooooo.... mmmmm yum yum.
