hi all

the O2 box can't cover all the floors in the house, so i need to make the entire house wireless so anyone can access the net securely.

anyone got any recommendations for this, something reliable and cheapish solution.

is wifi essential ?
homeplug/powerline would be an alternative to fdesktops or not very mobile laptops, generally more reliable that wifii

Not cheap but could be potentially be more reliable than a 'pure wireless extender' solution.

hi all

i need it for the laptops on the other above 2 floors.

i just looked WALL-PLUGGED RANGE EXTENDER - WGXB102 so all i have to do is connect these to the sockets in each floor or room and the wifi will be picked up.

There may be some configuration involved for the wifi rather than just plug and play, however if you can configure a routers wireless settings fine then these should be no problem.

Pair of them in WDS with DD-WRT V24, topped of with a well placed AP. Can Not go wrong.
