tracks you didn't expect to hear on tv....

Was just watching High Altitude on BBC2, and as they were racing on the ice in ice boat things they were using "Still Remains - The Serpent" as the background music, just didn't expect to hear it on mainstream tv....

so any others you have noticed?

too many to list. a lot of obscure electro tracks on bbc cookery programs. turns out its the same guy whos been picking music for them. legend

my housemate works at the bbc and has been put in charge of music of the documentary hes doing, the ammount of promo's we're gettig sent is just awesome.

haha.. that would make interesting viewing.

I do like the music on BBC/C4 shows, I'm often seems that the person behind the music has an identical taste in music. I guess a lot of electronic stuff goes well with shows like top gear though.

I don't know if anyone's seen "monkey dust" on here, if not you should. But anyway, the music on that is brilliant, but I believe there were some rights issues to some of the tracks used which has delayed the DVD release of the second and third series
