Cryostasis - what a dog

Tried it for an hour got very bored and put it up for sale on that auction site. Not a great game and certainly not a good enough game to spend any time sorting it out.

Plus it's got a problem with shader 4.0 and my system. It's got those weird "heat signature" textures all over the place. And, yeah, OP, the framerate is just poo.

I want my money back.

runs sweet with eveything on and maxed out for me at 1650x1080 8aa/16af with my rig yer its not a great game ,but i give it points so far for trying to be different and fact of the matter is a low budget game

play on dx 9 dx 10 for nvidia cards on that game or something like it.i had same problem

ATi should do a Nivida, and pressure them into removing the PhysX as they can't do it, just like Nvidia got Dx10.1 removed from Ass Creed as they can't do that, that'll teach the *****. :D

LOL!

The only advantage of DX10.1 in Ass Creed (which was a rubbish game anyhow - could have been brilliant if they hadn't made it super fiddly and inacessible to casual gamers) was "full" deferred shader (for the AA part especially) performance on ATI hardware, even if nVidia had 10.1 support there would have been no advantages on nVidia hardware from the features the game supported in 10.1.

So tell us about PhysX then, so far it's nothing more than a series of tech demoes and average at best games.

If it was the other way around, you'd be telling us about how ATi are holding back things without supporting DX10.1 or something. Do you work for Nvidia or a Nvidia funded project or something? You're more green than a certain someone who was banned from these forums.

Is this released as a playable game, all I could find was a fly-by demo

I think I got 40fps average with a GTX280 at 1920x1200 maxed out in the launcher.
