As a few people have mentioned, the DPRK has what may be the largest concentration of tube and rocket artillery ever assembled to fire at a single target.

I wonder if there will be one brick left standing on another in the ruins of Seoul after the first day.

If they actually levelled Seoul there would probably be a nuclear strike on Pyongyang. They wouldn't do it.

No, probably not. Unless its changed, the US has a no first strike policy.

They would only get a couple of hours of firing before they were silenced by SK and US counter fire. but they could drop a lot on seoul during that time..and they do have chem/bio shells...

Seoul is an interesting city...Its one big underground shelter really..

and if you thought stalingrad was bad...urban combat here would be absolutely insane.

I think the stupidity was all on China's part for if they hadn't have intervened in the Korean War then North Korea would not exist today and the world would almost certainly be better off.

LOL @ the people saying bring it on. A war with North Korea would make Iraq/Afghanistan look like a tea party. They have at least a million soldiers that would not hesitate to give up there lives. Look how much problems suicide bombers in Iraq caused, now multiply that by several hundreed thousand or maybe a few million and that's what a war with north korea would entail.

Sure it would be bloody but that's War, the U.S.A and therefore South Korea have technology on their side, I would take technology over brute force every day of the week.

True but it's highly unlikely the US would nuke NK as I doubt China would sit by while the US starts droping nukes on it's doorstep.

Which is not in the interests of China I would say and why I think China will not support NK. If a missile is fired towards South Korea or Japan then they will both be justified in destroying it.
