Hi, i just thought that with all the bad thoughts/comments about the Titan Vulcan machine - I would tell everyone im really happy with it's performance (Once the initial problem was sorted) Runs brilliantly! And is actually a lot quieter than i expected. Very easily worth the price! :)

Thats really good to know, still waiting for mine, mix up with the collection, error on my part (dont leave it to your parents to look after it lol), hoping to get a working system back by next week. Looking forward to it!

ignore the bad comments sun :), usually most cases get something bad said about them by someone or other, i mean look at the antec skeleton case, that case has had some bad press and it's the best case that i have ever owned. At the end of the day it comes down to wether you are happy with it or not, stuff what anybody else thinks :)

hi there guys

i've been configuring the vulcan systems recently

the clocks were dropped as we had a few chips that couldnt run 3.5

if you have any questions - fire away

in most cases - upping the multi to 17x
and raising the vcore a notch is all that is required for 3.5

but it is very dependant on the chip

thanx for replying m8, at the moment my system is running at 2.8 so do i just increase these two settings gradually. i think i will goto 3.3ghz as 3.5ghz wasnt stable.
also my burn rate when burning using image burn or dvd decrytper is 0% as the program always freezes and i have to **** the tower down and reboot.
any suggestions why?

Sorry i didnt reply earlier - But you will most likely have just got one of those chips that struggle at 3.5

titan vulcan hopefully returned to me tomorrow. according to brief email from oc it looks like my hard drive was faulty resulting in slow pc and blue screens.

hopefully mine was a bad experience with the pc and i can start commenting positively on it

Well i know 2 other people with it mate, and both are delighted with the system. I think you've just been very unlucky.

Good luck with the next one. ;)

I've got a vulcan! Very happy with it to be honest. Dont see anything wrong with it to date!

Got my Titan Vulcan today, gutted, it wouldn't even post. Packed back up and RMA'd. Tried re-seating the CPU per the tech advice helpline, ram, gpu etc, no joy :( I was looking so forward to getting it aswell.

MY Nephew wanted a PC after playing about on mine on visits, the Titan Vulcan seemed like a No-brainer for him on launch, so I recommended this to him.

I'm afraid to say the build quality was not quite as good as the pictures posted here, the build pics must be cherry picked, the rear case fan was not even connected up.

Build wise, this one was rushed.

This was an early 3.5GHz version, but it arrived in one piece and was well packaged along with all manuals, software and all the other parts we ordered for a first gaming PC for a 16 year old lad.

Apart from me giving it the once over and tidying up the cables, connecting the fan and adding another and also dropping the clock speed to 3.3 GHz, its been fine ... in fact I was asking him tonight on the phone and he's been playing it to death and he's had no problems at all with it, and that's been like 3 to 4 weeks now.

I think the 3.5GHz clock was a bit optimistic though.
