DPD appointed new couriers for Overclockers UK.

As part of our commitment to constantly improve customer service I am delighted to announce that with immediate effect DPD are now the official courier of Overclockers UK.

DPD were selected because of their outstanding performance within the computer trade and in particular their reliability of service and enhanced parcel handling resulting in greatly reduced damage claims. I am happy to report that a number of our delivery options have reduced in price and for heavy consignments the reduction is substantial.

All UK and UK Offshore delivery options are now live with DPD International being added this morning.

Dropped DHL already? I saw quite a few complaints about them but didn't have any problems myself.

As long as my delivery makes it on time I don't mind who brings it lol.

Thanks for the update Spie.

Can't say I've ever heard of them, ah well as long as they deliver on time i'm not fussed :D

They are excellent couriers.

A friend of mine mentioned using them over a beer a few weeks back and he said they are flaweless, especially with weekend deliveries.

Looking forward to having them deliver. Good choice Spie.

i got a parcel from dpd yesterday and there wasnt a scratch on the box with a friendly driver as well who didnt grut at me lol

Couriers seem to be universally good in Central/West Leeds - I've never had a problem with CityLink or DHL.

Down the bottom of town though, well, their drivers have obviously been recruited from zoos specialising in especially stupid monkeys, who are defeated by such simple things as apartment intercomms and closed gates.

Just moved from central to east Leeds - Citylink were always excellent for me, and to be fair no real problems with DHL yet.

Happy to try this new courier tho - thanks for the update Spie.

Oh and stairs, one guy left my parcel (not from overclockers) on the stairs inside my block of flats. Didnt even want to take it to the first floor. Now it is a communal corridor so anyone could have taken it.

DPD - Good Choice.

DHL most of the time were OK, however sometimes I had the odd parcel deliverd by un-marked hatchback with kids in back...

Good stuff , I might actually use OCuk for my next order

3 to 4 days is DHL's next day delivery service

So anything will be better than those tards

I for one won't miss DHL, they were absolutuely appalling in my area (Hull). Never had any problems with City Link.

Lets hope DPD deliver the goods. (pun intended)
