Do I attract the crazy ones?

Yes women are like Goats. You cannot have 2

Pardon? Did you miss something out from the second sentence, say, I dunno, something that would impart a meaning to it? :p

OtherSide, if you reckon all women are mental you can try men I suppose but I'm not sure you'll get any more joy from it and it seems a rather drastic choice to make based on a few bad experiences but it's your life, do what makes you happy.... ;)

That is heavy, my mother had a bit of a heart to heart with my me over some stuff regarding her life and that was hard.

One of those moments you realise your parents aren't the stable, infallible people you always thought they were, right?

Back OT, I'm pretty laid back, quite the tomboy, a hell of a lot more reasoned than a lot of my female friends (apart from the ones at work - us girly engineers tend to be more down to Earth it seems), I have more testosterone floating around than most women (outside the 'normal' range)...

...but I STILL have to bite back the odd hissyfit now and again. Sometimes one seeps through and I apologise as soon as I realise it.

We women are often surging with emotions and worries and (mild, in my case) insecurities - I hear men complain about what their lass has gone and shouted at him for - and I recognise myself and my own suppressed hissyfit in what they're saying. I get the feelings too, just have to force myself not to act on them (unless he deserves it then all Hell breaks loose!).

What hasn't helped mental illness is the way it is treated as 'crazy' or 'screwed in the head' as opposed to attitudes towards physical illnesses or injuries. I'm not having a personal jab at you but I find awareness and support for such things severely lacking, and that's just GPs.

you've got to look past their problems and look at what they all had in common - knowing you. :p feel better? lol

seriously chin up. these things are sent to test us. key is to learn from each one and make sure same mistake don't happen next time.

I have never met a woman who I would describe as "normal" in a man and his mates kind of way. They are all barking mad in some respect imho.

It enought to make one try being gay for a while :)

No. I used to think that women were unbelievably weird. Now, with a lot more experience of life and of women, I love those weird emotions, conversations, fellings. I realise now how different and also how similar men and women are.

I'd rather go out for a drunken night talking to a woman than with a man. It's just great fun (and I mean that in an innocent way!)

The first paragraph you've got there sounds like it's time of the month for her... :p

I noticed your location is blackpool. :) Move house. ;)
