Ive been given the job of selling the Epson Stylus 7600 printer from work.
I was going to just stick it on ebay but I thought there might be more photography orientated places to sell it? Plus I want cash on collection.

Im not up to date with any of the photography forums or anything but I imagine some of you guys are.:)

Try searching for those forums...I wouldn't think they would a lot for it though, it's an very outdated machine now.

Great thanks, was thinking £500 or is that way off the mark?

Comes with stand and a ins which are all around 50%

Couldn't tell you how much, but that sound low to me tbh. If anyone has £500 spare, then that is a good deal as its a damn nice printer and ink is still very widely available.

Edit; Theres one going for £650 buy now and one for £850 buy now on ebay if that helps.

If it's been used in a business then it's a fair bet to assume it's been hammered day in day out (or so a potential buyer would think).

It's also several models down, the 7800, 7880 and 7900 being released since it came out.

It doesn't use K3 inks which means it probably still has some problems with a bronzing effect on photos etc...

Come to think about it, rather than trying to flog it to photographers which is all what I've suggested how about trying to sell it to graphic artists or architects etc., people who need large prints but aren't bothered about getting a top quality photo from it...it would be excellent for printing blueprints etc.

To be fair we've got 2 A2 printers aswell so the majority of our work is done on them. This gets used probably for about 1 print a day but I see what your sayin, I'd presume the same.

Edit : Thats a good point I will ask around got a couple of friends who are designers :)

Just had the 7900 delivered but not had chance to get it going yet.
