Evening all,
been a while since i was in here (well, a good few years to tell the truth since my camera got nicked and not replace!).
The girlfriend is after a camera from me for her birthday. Ideally she would like it as small as functionally possible, with a decent screen on the back so she can see what she is taking a picture of (to stop her from taking pictures where for example, she takes a picture of me and cuts half my legs off and has half a screen of sky in the background!
), more of a point and shoot type of camera. Have had a quick look around and quite like the looks of the Canon Digital Ixus range, but was wondering where they stoodd in this line of cameras or if i should be looking at other manufacturers?
Personally i'd like a few more configurable options than the point/shoot, such as shutter speed, ISO settings etc, but i would presume you would get that on most digital cameras nowadays anyway.
thanks for any help you can offer,
Kef
