Easiest way to do passport photos at home?

I need 4 passport photos for the navy tomorrow , and I have left it really late, and was wondering how easy it would be to sort it out at home?

Have a decent camera (canon ixus 90) and a macbook, so I should imagine I have all the tools to do it.

Yes I do - although I have mini sized photo paper (6x4 or 7x5)

My girlfriends dad tried to do this, it was so much time and effort it was easier just to go to a photo booth and pay the extorshinate prices.

That PDF says that it should be professionally printed - home printing probably won't be acceptable quality.

My Canon printer has miles better image quality than the crappy photo booths. I just got someone to picture me against a white wall and then edited it a bit in photoshop; then crop and print.

Seriously, what is the hassle? Under a fiver at tesco which is most likely open 24/7.

The photo shop probally be the main reason why they dont want home made photos

same here, after several failed attempts i just gave up and went to tesco

It takes two seconds, take photo, resize in photoshop and change to 300dpi. Print.
