Which one: 4850, 9800 gtx or gts 250

4850..There's been so many threads on this allready... 9800GTX is pretty much the same as 4850 just go for which one you prefer.
4850 1Gb is £143? A GTX 260 216 55nm is £169 i'd deffo go for GTX 260, assuming your PSU/budget suffices.

Whatever's cheaper or suits your needs I'd say. Also, when choosing between the GTS 250 and 9800 GTX+, there are a couple of differences to consider:

The 9800 GTX+ draws more power and is longer.
However, the 9800 GTX+ also seems to overclock better on average - most reviews show the GTS 250 reaches about 780MHz, the 9800 GTX+ got up to 860MHz.

9800 GTX+, Guru3D, core overclock: 860MHz.
9800 GTX+, legit reviews, core overclock: 840MHz
9800 GTX+, techpowerup, core overclock: 832MHz

GTS 250, Techpowerup, core overclock: 778MHz
GTS 250 (2GB), Guru3D, core overclock: 777MHz

The 1gb GTS 250 gets my vote, same card as the 9800 GTX, but its cheaper than it, and its also cheaper than the 4850 1gb, which its around same performance as. :)

I would go for that. I wonder how much the 4870 1gig will go down to? Don't know if anyone noticed (not checked if there's a thread) but in the b-grade today there was 4870 512 mb for £117 inc. vat! 10+ in stock. They either sold out of got taken off
