Guess it just me and Bad7777 to play our match now. Just asked via xblive and he doesn't want to play until tomorrow, he can't be bothered lol. Would have been nice to finish off the 360 tournament tonight. Ow well.

Yeah, it was a shame that wasn't the final match as that would have been a very tense finish. I have actually played Richie quite a few times, his Gouken play just keeps getting better and better.
How did you guys find the number of rounds/games?
I think from round 1 right through to the final, a best out of 3 games is the best way to do it. Gives you enough time to get to know your opponent, and its over in relatively no time at all. Best out of 3 rounds per game was fine I thought.

for sf, i think it should be best out of 3 rounds, best out of 3 matches for every stage of the tourney. im pretty sure thats evo rules, simple and effective imo. 1 match alone is really not enough to determine anything but best of 3 matches is pretty decisive and still quick.
I was in favour off that at the start. Once we got into the 3 game part of the tournament, I preferred that.
Either way I think most will agree, 1 game, best out of 3 rounds is too short.
From semi finals onwards though it should be 3 games, anything can happen, as proved today.
if any forum genius can teach me how to make/draw this on a forum (rather than drawing myself by hand) we can get the next tourney set up
