Stupid question: water charges

Morning,

I'll be brief, if my water company charges me this:

Standard Domestic Metered
Standing Charge 17.03
Volumetric Charge per m3 144.84p

And i have used 7 m3 units of water, do i owe:

£17.03 for the standing charge
and
£1013.88 for the water, or £101.38, or £10.13?! Is 144.84p is that £1.45 per m3 etc?!

not sure what it means but mine says....

water 278 @ 48.72p 135/27
wastewater 278 @ 22.18p 61/36

total = £260.10

where 135/27 is the supply charge / fixed charge

So did you use 278 units or am i confused even more now...?

i think it is fixed at a maximum of 278, or it is always 278

Well if the figures are right i owe £27.14 for 4 months of freshwater including the standing charge (i could possibly wash more) and around £40 for wastewater to a different water company. 'appy with that.
