Yeah. They released that a week or so ago. Its 5.551 now.

Does this stop it crashing when copying more than a few songs at once to your ipod? :mad:

Wonder if they'll ever release an x64 version

Not sure. Haven't looked out for threads on that but I recall seeing someone ask and being told no.

Perhaps not for you, but thought it nice to start a tread in case anybody wanted to.

I know what you mean though, the time taken to re enter all the settings I use isn't quite worth it yet.

I use the ml_ipod plugin, give that a go as it may help things.

Re-enter the settings? Whenever I install a new Winamp it keeps my settings for me.

Same here!...

Updated to 5.55(1) yesterday and its more stable on Vista64, plus the tweak to the 'Bento' skin (grey and black striping so you can line up Albums and artists etc...) are a bonus!...

Plus the mlipod.dll plugin is the way to go!.. don't use the built in iPod plugin as its flaky and doesn't have as much functionality!!..

I like to completely flush out old programs when I uninstall them, so things like e.g. double clicking on a file to make sure it enqueues rather than blank plays, multiple instances, setting up what seperate plug ins and eq's run, getting Winamp to refer to a saved folders full of skins, plugins etc., etc.

It's working as I want to atm, so unless there's a security update I probably won't bother unless they add something else to it. A WASAPI plugin might be handy..

EDIT - there is one out there, but seemingly doesn't quite work

If you mean the mlipod.dll plugin then as far as I know 'Yes' and (to a lesser support) it also works with the iPhone
