some are nice some i'd bin or sell.
i'd keep the cossie and s1 turbo. the rest i'd sell.
a mate of mine has spent loads of money on his sapphire cosworth as he's aiming to break the 200mph point and is hoping for 210mph.
his engine will be making close to 1000bhp before it blows!!
for a relatively cheap motor the performance is great - when can you buy a car like that these days for that money?

If it's diesel and he's not selling it, no...although I'd advise against putting diesel in those cars.

The only car I'd be interested in if I had the money for a collection would be the RS500. I'd add to that an RS200 and Escort Cosworth and that'd be all I'd want from Ford tbh.

He won't get 1000bhp from a YB. Well, not in any kind of form that you could drive on the road.
Anyway, why 1000bhp?
450 or thereabouts is enough for 200mph.

yeah only 3 black S1 RSts were made iirc, Di got one a ford director has one and not sure bout the 3rd

Princess Di wants an RS Turbo but doesn't want to be conspicuous. So lets make the only black RST road car and give it a different front grille and keep the RS Graphics, that'll really blend in!

What's really stupid is they allowed the press to print pics of her with it, and they left the license plate clearly in shot.

A grey one too (Nimbus or Mercury, can't remember which)
Apparently someone ordered it in factory grey and paid the price, so a newly built car was sent straight back to the factory and taken back to bare metal before being re-done in grey.
Whether that's true or not I don't know!
