***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Ok - as "tradition" I will post the MMO champions update highlights. Latest build is on the PTR - *tons* of changes, and lots of new gear and other bits added - I won't copy and paste that though.



Tier 8 Set Bonuses
Only Death Knight and Druid Bonuses are available in this build, sorry!

Death Knight

* Item - Death Knight T8 Melee 2P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Increases the critical strike chance of Death Coil and Frost Strike by 5%.
* Item - Death Knight T8 Melee 4P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Increases the bonus damage done per disease by 20% on Blood Strike, Heart Strike, Obliterate, and Scourge Strike.
* Item - Death Knight T8 Tank 2P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Increases the damage done by Rune Strike by 5%.
* Item - Death Knight T8 Tank 4P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Anti-magic shell also grants you 10% reduction to physical damage taken.


Druid

* Item - Druid T8 Balance 2P Bonus -- Increases the bonus granted by Eclipse for Starfire and Wrath by 6%.
* Item - Druid T8 Balance 4P Bonus -- Each time your Insect Swarm deals damage, you have a chance to make your next Starfire cast within until cancelled instant.
* Item - Druid T8 Feral 2P Bonus (Class: Druid) -- The periodic damage dealt by your Rake, Rip, and Lacerate abilites has a chance to cause you to enter a Clearcasting state.
* Item - Druid T8 Feral 4P Bonus (Class: Druid) -- Increases the duration of Savage Roar and Survival Instinct by 8 sec.
* Item - Druid T8 Restoration 2P Bonus (Class: Druid) -- Increases the healing done by your Swiftmend spell by 10%.
* Item - Druid T8 Restoration 4P Bonus (Class: Druid) -- Your Rejuvenation spell also instantly heals your target for its periodic healing amount.

New Mounts

* Blue Skeletal Warhorse - Summons and dismisses a rideable Blue Skeletal Warhorse. This is a very fast mount.
* White Kodo - Summons and dismisses a rideable White Kodo.
* Venomhide Ravasaur - Summons and dismisses a rideable Venomhide Ravasaur. This is a very fast mount.
* Coralshell Turtle - Summons and dismisses a rideable Coralshell Turtle. This is a very fast mount, both on land and in water.



Professions Changes
Enchanting

* Enchant Weapon - Blood Draining *New* - Permanently enchants your weapon to sometimes grant Blood Reserve when striking an enemy or inflicting damage with bleed attacks. When you fall below 35% health, Blood Reserve restores 1750 to 2250 health. This enchantment requires the wielder is at least level 75.


Engineering

* Nitro Boosts now Permanently attaches overpowered nitro boosts to a pair of boots, increasing critical strike rating by 16 (up from 12) and allowing you to greatly increase run speed for 2 sec.
* Flexweave Underlay now Permanently attaches a flexweave underlay to a cloak, increasing Agility by 15 (up from 10) and allowing you to turn the cloak into a parachute to fall slowly for 10 sec.
* Springy Arachnoweave now Permanently attaches a springy arachnoweave to a cloak, increasing spell power by 18 (up from 11) and allowing you to turn the cloak into a parachute to fall slowly for 10 sec.


Herbalism

* Lifeblood now has level restrictions for the target. (Rank 3 can't heal targets lower than level 10, level 25 at rank 4, level 40 at rank 5, level 55 at rank 6)
 
eath Knight (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Frost

* Frost Presence now reduces damage taken by 5%. (Old - Reduces spell damage taken by 10%)
* Guile of Gorefiend now Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Blood Strike, Frost Strike, Howling Blast and Obliterate abilities by 15/30/45%, and increases the duration of your Icebound Fortitude by 2 secs. (Old - Increased all damage done by these abilities by 5/10/15%)
* Unbreakable Armor now reduces all damage from attacks. (Old - Only physical damage)
* Improved Frost Presence now decrease the damage done to you by 1/2% while in Frost Presence. (Old - Reduced spell damage done to you while in Frost Presence by 2/4%)

Unholy

* Death Strike now deals 75% weapon damage (up from 60% weapon damage), additional damage increased as well. (From 178.2 to 222.75 for Rank 5)
* Desecration is now also caused by Scourge Strike.
* Vicious Strikes doesn't affect Death Strike anymore.

Blood

* Dancing Rune Weapon now lasts 10 sec plus 1 sec per 5 additional runic power, doing the same attacks as the Death Knight but for 50% reduced damage. Cooldown reduced from 3 min to 1.5 min.
* Will of the Necropolis now affects damage that would take you below 35% health or taken while you are at 35% health. (Old - Only damage that would take you below 35% health)
* Might of Mograine now increases the critical strike damage damage bonus of your Blood Boil, Blood Strike, Death Strike, and Heart Strike abilities by 15/30/45%. (Old - Increased damage of all these abilities and Obliterate for 3/7/10%)
* Improved Death Strike now Increases the damage of your Death Strike by 15/30% and increases its critical strike chance by 3/6%.
* Bloody Strikes now Increases the damage of Blood Strike and Heart Strike by 15/30/45%, and increases the damage of Blood Boil by 10/20/30%. (Down from 20/40/60%)
* Spell Deflection now give you a chance equal to your Parry chance of taking 15/30/45% (up from 10/20/30%) less damage from a direct damage spell.

Glyphs

* Glyph of Blood Boil has been removed.
* Glyph of Heart Strike added - Your Heart Strike also reduces the movement speed of your target by 50% for 5 sec.
* Glyph of Unbreakable Armor - Increases the amount of damage absorbed by Unbreakable Armor by 20%. (Up from 1%)
* Glyph of Death Strike - Increases your Death Strike's damage by 2% for every 2 runic power you currently have (up to a maximum of 25%). The runic power is not consumed by this effect. (Old - Increased your Death Strike's damage by 1% for every 5 runic power you currently have.)


Druid (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Feral

* Faerie Fire (Feral) now deals [15% of AP + 1] damage. (Up from [5% of AP + 1])

Balance

* Celestial Focus now reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Starfire, Hibernate and Hurricane by 23/46/75% and increases your total spell haste by 1/2/3%. (Old - Affected Cyclone instead of Hurricane)


Hunter (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Survival

* Wyvern Sting cooldown has been lowered from 1.5min to 1min.
* Frost Trap now slows down the enemy by 50%. (Down from 60%)
* Resourcefulness now also effects Black Arrow.
* Entrapment changed to - When your Frost Trap, Immolation Trap, Explosive Trap and Snake Trap are triggered you entrap all afflicted targets, preventing them from moving for 2/4/6 sec.

Beast Mastery

* Animal handler now increases the duration of your Master's Call effect by 6sec. (Down from 10sec)

Marksmanship

* Wild Quiver now deals 80% weapon nature damage. (Old - 80% Nature damage, wording change?)
* Concussive Barrage changed from 3 to 2 ranks, now gives your successful Chimera Shot and Multi-Shot attacks a 50/100% chance to Daze the target for 4 sec. (Old - 2/4/6% chance on Auto Shot, Multi-Shot, and Volley)
* Efficiency now reduces the Mana cost of your Shots and Stings by 3/6/9/12/15%. (Up from 2/4/6/8/10%)

Glyphs

* Glyph of the Monkey has been removed.
* Glyph of Mend Pet has been added - Increases the healing done by your Mend Pet ability by 40%.
* Glyph of Raptor Strike - For 3 sec (down from 5 sec) after using Raptor Strike, you take 20% less damage.G


Mage (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Glyph

* Glyph of Mirror Image - Your Mirror Images gain the Winter's Chill talent, granting their Frostbolt spell a 100% chance to apply the Winter's Chill effect, which increases the chance spells will critically hit the target by 2% (up from 1%) for 15 sec. Stacks up to 5 times.


Paladin (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Protection

* Greater Blessing of Sanctuary now gives the target 2% of maximum displayed mana when the target blocks, parries, or dodges a melee attack.

Holy

* Judgements of the Pure was moved from Tier 10 to Tier 9.
* Sacred Cleansing was moved from Tier 9 to Tier 8.
* Enlightened Judgements was moved from Tier 9 to Tier 10.
* Infusion of Light was moved from Tier 8 to Tier 10.
* Blessed Hands now reduces the mana cost of Hand of Freedom, Hand of Sacrifice and Hand of Salvation by 15/30%, increases the effectiveness of Hand of Salvation by 50% and the effectiveness of Hand of Sacrifice by an additional 5/10%.
* Aura Mastery now causes your Concentration Aura to make all affected targets immune to Silence and Interrupt effects and improve the effect of all other auras by 100%.

Protection

* Guarded by the Light got an additional effect - In addition, your Divine Plea spell is 50/100% less likely to be dispelled.

Retribution

* Sanctified Seals was renamed to Sanctity of Battle, now Increases your chance to critically hit with all spells and attacks by 1/2/3% and increases the damage caused by Exorcism and Crusader Strike by 5/10/15%.


Priest (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Discipline

* Grace description has been modified to add - Grace can only be active on one target at a time.


Rogue (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Assassination

* Hunger for Blood now lasts 1 min. Energy cost reduced from 30 to 15.


Shaman (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)

* Spirit Weapons now decrease the threat on all attacks by 30% (Old - Only Melee attacks)

Enhancement

* Nature Resistance Totem, Stoneskin Totem, Fire Resistance Totem, Frost Resistance Totem, Strength of Earth Totem, Flametongue Totem, Wrath of Air Totem, Windfury Totem descriptions have been changed to reflect the latest changes, they now affects all raid members.
* Earthen Power now also make you and nearby friendly targets immune to snare effects for 5 sec when it pulses.

Restoration

* Healing Stream Totem range increased from 20 to 30 yards.
* Mana Spring Totem now restores 91 mana every 5 seconds at max rank. (Old - 34 mana every 2 seconds)
* Nature's Swiftness changed to - When activated, your next Nature spell with a base casting time less than 10 sec. becomes an instant cast spell. Nature's Swiftness shares a cooldown with Elemental Mastery.
* Restorative Totems now Increases the effect of your Mana Spring and Healing Stream Totems by 4/8/12/16/20%. (Down from 5/10/15/20/25%)
* Healing Grace has been moved from Tier 3 to Tier 2.
* Ancestral Healing has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 3.

Elemental

* Thunderstorm is now useable while stunned.
* Lava Flows now Iincreases the critical strike damage bonus of your Lava Burst spell by an additional 6/12/24%, and when your Flame Shock is dispelled your spell casting speed is increased by 10/20/30% for 6 sec.
* Lightning Overload changed from 5 to 3 ranks, now Gives your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells a 7/14/20% (Up from 4/8/12/16/20%) chance to cast a second, similar spell on the same target at no additional cost that causes half damage and no threat.
* Elemental Mastery has been changed to - When activated, your next Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning or Lava Burst spell becomes an instant cast spell. In addition, your Fire, Frost, and Nature damage spells a 20% increased critical strike chance for 15 sec. Elemental Mastery shares a cooldown with Nature's Swiftness. Instant, 3 min cooldown
* Storm, Earth, and Fire changed toReduces the cooldown of your Chain Lightning spell by .75 sec (on all ranks, down from 0.75/1/2.5sec), your Earthbind Totem also has a 33/66/100% chance to root targets for 5 sec when cast and the periodic damage done by your Flame Shock is increased by 20%.
* Elemental Reach now also increases the range of your Flame Shock by 7/15 yards.

Glyphs

* Glyph of Totem of Wrath -- When you cast Totem of Wrath, you gain 30% of the totem's bonus spell power for 5 min. (Old - until cancelled)


Warlock (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Affliction

* Haunt now only increases all damage done by your Shadow damage-over-time effects. (Old - All DoT effects)

Demonology

* Metamoprhosis now increases your armor contribution from items by 600%. (Old - Increased armor by 600%)
* The Ritual of Doom spell doesn't require the Warlock to immediately enslave the doomguard anymore.
* Fel Synergy now gives you a 50/100% chance to heal your pet for 50/30% of the amount of spell damage done by you. (Old - All damage)


Warrior (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Arms

* Taste for Blood now gives you a 33/66/100% chance of allowing the use of your Overpower ability for 5 secs whenever your Rend ability causes damage. This talent will not occur more than once every 6 sec.

Fury

* Titan's Grip now reduces your physical damage done by 10% when dual-wielding two-handed weapons.

Glyph

* Glyph of Heroic Strike - You gain 10 rage when you critically strike with your Heroic Strike ability. (Old - Increases the critical strike chance of Heroic Strike by 5%.)
* Glyph of Last Stand - Reduces the cooldown of your Last Stand ability by 1 min. (Old - Also reduced the maximum health gained by 10%.)

A ton of changes, I remembered I forgot to post notes of the *PREVIOUS PTR VERSION*

IF CHANGES IN THIS POST ARE DIFFERENT TO THE ONES ABOVE, THE ONES ABOVE ARE THE ACCURATE CURRENT PTR CHANGES. HOWEVER SOME CHANGES ARE MISSING ON THAT LIST COMPARED TO THIS.

Racial

* Gift of the Naaru is now instant cast but doesn't remove harmful magic effects anymore.
* Stoneform cooldown has been lowered from 3 min to 2 min.


Death Knight (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)

* Rune of the Fallen Crusader -- Affixes your rune weapon with a rune that has a chance to heal you for 3% and increase total Strength by 15% (down from 30%) for 15 sec.

Frost

* Howling Blast damage has been doubled (from 259-281 to 518-562 for max rank), cooldown changed from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
* Frost Presence now reduces spell damage taken by 10%. (Down from 15%)
* Guile of Gorefiend now increases damage done by your Blood Strike, Frost Strike, Howling Blast and Obliterate abilities by 5/10/15%. (Old - Critical damage only, 15/30/45%)
* Lichborne doesn't increase the chance of your enemies to miss you anymore.

Blood

* Dancing Rune Weapon now lasts 20 sec (up from 10sec) and last 2 (up from 1 sec) sec per 5 additional runic power but attacks for ?% reduced damage.
* Will of the Necropolis now cannot occur more often than once every 15 sec.
* Might of Mograine now increase all damage done by your Blood Boil, Blood Strike, Death Strike, Heart Strike, and Obliterate abilities by 3/7/10%. (Old - Critical damage only, 10/20/30%)
* Vampiric Blood cooldown has been increased from 1 min to 2 min.
* Blade Barrier now decrease damage taken by 1/2/3/4/5% for 10 sec.

Unholy

* Bone Shield cooldown has been increased from 1min to 2min.
* Ghoul Frenzy cooldown has been removed.
* Blood-Caked Blade proc limitation has been removed. (Old - This effect cannot occur more often than once every 3 sec.)
* Outbreak now Increases the damage of Plague Strike by 10/20/30% (Down from 15/30/45%) and Scourge Strike by 7/13/20%. (Down from 10/20/30%)
* Necrosis now affects all your auto attacks. (Old - Only Main-Hand)


Druid (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Balance

* Starfall cooldown has been lowered from 3 min to 1.5 min.
* Eclipse now gives you a 33% chance of increasing damage done by Wrath by 30% (up from 20%) when you critically hit with Starfire.
* Owlkin Frenzy now affects all attacks. (Old - Physical melee and ranged attacks only)
* Celestial Focus now reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting Starfire, Hibernate and Cyclone by 23/46/70% and increases your total spell haste by 1/2/3%.
* Nature's Grace now increasing your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 sec. (Old - Reduced the casting time of your next spell by 0.5 sec.)

Feral

* Faerie Fire and Faerie Fire (Feral) now reduces the armor of the target for 5 min. (Up from 40 sec) Duration remains 40sec in PvP.

Restoration

* Tree of Life mana cost has been changed from 28% of base mana to 13% of base mana.


Hunter (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Beast Mastery

* Aspect of the Pack now affects the whole raid, range extended to 40 yards.
* Animal Handler now increases the duration of your Master's Call effect by 3/10 sec. (Old - Reduced cooldown by 5/10 sec)

Marksmanship

* The wording on Auto Shot has been changed to reflect the 3.1 changes: Ranged attacks fired by a Hunter all have 15% increased attack speed.
* Chimera Shot mana cost lowered from 16% of base mana to 12% of base mana.
* Rapid Recuperation now gives you 4% of your mana every 3 sec while under the effect of Rapid Fire. (Old - Reduces the mana and focus cost of all shots and abilities by you and your pet by 60%). Effect on Rapid Killing remains unchanged.

Survival

* T.N.T. now affects Black Arrow.
* Trap Mastery now affects Black Arrow.


Mage (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Fire

* Fiery Payback got an additional effect - When below 35% health all damage taken is reduced by 10% and your Pyroblast spell's cast time is reduced by 1.75 secs while the cooldown is increased by 2.5 secs. In addition, melee and ranged attacks made against you have a 5% chance to disarm your attacker's main hand and ranged weapons.
* Impact now gives Gives your damaging spells a 4/7/10% chance to cause the next Fire Blast you cast to stun the target for 2 sec.


Paladin (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)

* All paladins auras had their range extended from 30 yards to 40 yards.

Holy

* Sacred Shield now cannot be on more than one target at any one time.
* Infusion of Light no longer has a chance to reduce the casting time of Holy Light, but increases the the critical chance of your next Holy Light by 10/20% instead.

Protection

* Hand of Sacrifice now lasts 12 sec or until the caster has transfered 100% of their maximum health.
* Targets affected by Divine Shield, Hand of Protection or Divine Protection can no longer be affected by any of these spell for 2 minutes. (Down from 3 minutes)
* Divine Sacrifice *New Talent* (Tier 3) - 30% of all damage taken by party or raid members within 30 yards is redirected to the Paladin (up to a maximum of 150% of the Paladin's health). Instant, 2 min cooldown.


Priest (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Discipline

* Mental Agility changed from 5 to 3 Ranks. Now Reduces the mana cost of your instant cast spells by 4/7/10%. (Old - 2/4/6/8/10%)

Holy

* Serendipity now reduces the cast time of your next Greater Heal or Prayer of Healing spell by 4/8/12%. (Down from 6/12/20%)
* Body and Soul *New Talent* - When you cast Power Word: Shield, you increase the target's movement speed by 30/60% for 4 sec, and you have a 50% chance when you cast Abolish Disease on yourself to also cleanse 1 poison effect in addition to diseases.

Shadow

* Shadowform now gives the the periodic damage from your Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, and Vampiric Touch spells the ability to critically hit for 100% increased damage.
* Mind Melt now also increases the periodic critical strike chance of your Vampiric Touch, Devouring Plague and Shadow Word: Pain spells by 3/6%.


Shaman (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Enhancement

* Frostbrand Weapon damage has been increased. (From 442 to 530 damage for Rank 9, from 386 to 463 for Rank 8, etc ...)
* Frozen Power now Increases the damage done by your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Lava Lash and Shock spells by 5/10% on targets afflicted by your Frostbrand Attack effect
* Flurry now Increases your attack speed by 5/10/15/20/25% for your next 3 swings after dealing a critical strike. (Down from 10/15/20/25/30%)


Warlock (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Affliction

* Pandemic now Grants the periodic damage from your Corruption and Unstable Affliction spells the ability to critically hit for 100% increased damage.
* Malediction now Increases your spell damage by 1/2/3%, and increases the periodic critical strike chance of your Corruption and Unstable Affliction spells by 3/6/9%.
* Eradication changed to - When you deal damage with Corruption, you have 6% chance to increase your spell casting speed by 6/12/20% for 10 sec.
* Siphon Life changed to - When you deal damage with your Corruption spell, you are instantly healed for 40% of the damage done. In addition, the damage done by your Corruption, Seed of Corruption and Unstable Affliction damage over time effects is increased by 5%.
* Soul Siphon now Increases the amount drained by your Drain Life and Drain Soul spells by an additional 3/6% (up from 2/4%) for each of your Affliction effects on the target, up to a maximum of 9/18% (down from 24/60%) additional effect.

Demonology

* Ritual of Doom cooldown has been lowered from 1 hour to 30 minutes.

Destruction

* Decimation effect added - Soulfires cast under the effect of Decimation cost no shard.


Warrior (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)
Arms

* Battle Stance now increase the armor penetration of all your attacks by 10%.
* Shattering Throw *New Skill* - Throws your weapon at the enemy causing [ 50% of AP + 12 ] damage (based on attack power), reducing the armor on the target by 20% for 10 sec, and removing any invulnerabilities. 25 Rage, 30 yd range, 1.5 sec cast, 5 min cooldown

Fury

* Berserker Stance now increase all damage taken by 5% (Down from 10%)
* Intimidating Shout cooldown has been lowered from 3 min to 2 min.

Protection

* Defensive Stance now reduces damage caused by 5%. (Down from 10%)
* Disarm now disarm the enemy's main hand and ranged weapons.

Took the plunge and started playing again, didn't have the will power to resist it after seeing the Legendary Mace coming in Ulduar, have to collect shards for it too :D
 
Well two of the versions of Atiesh were for healers.

Thing is, with Blizzard pushing dual specs so much, it would make more sense if there was a different version for different classes. Especially with their bumming of Retadins and Shadowpriests recently.

well im not actually in a guild :p i like to play alone and each guild i have been in got annoying because of all the people begging for a boost as soon as i log on
 
I hope its not a healer mace.

Plan on being Discipline in 3.1 so I hope it is. I have a odd feeling they are going to make it slightly better than anything else available but still a bit crappy for a legendary.

It will end up having stat's that are pointless for one of the classes that can use it, or they will try making it a hybrid mace and put on some Str or something silly with an excuse "Hey resto shammy can spec enhancement and still use it". I only hope i'm wrong.
 
And yet we STILL get a 10% damage reduction debuff!? That's a horrible nerf. Why, why, why??



This is nice, but we should have had it pre-TBC.

As far as I am aware, you still get the 10 percent damage reduction YOU take, but you give out more damage.

In other words

You are tanking boss:

CURRENTLY

Boss hits you for 100 - 10% defense stance you take 90 damage
you hit boss for 100 - 10% defense stance penalty you do 90 damage

3.1

Boss hits you for 100 - 10% defense stance you take 90 damage
you hit boss for 100 - 5% defense stance penalty you do 95 damage

So basically you will deal 5 percent more damage.
 
Great hey, got a **** fast 8MB line yet it's taking forever to download a measly 600MB patch! I've left it going for 4 hours now and it's still only done 84MB. ****ing ridiculous for a game that you have to pay to play!
