If your in the mood for a really thought provoking film I recommend "Hotel Rwanda", "Last King of Scotland" or "Freedom Writers" (this one is a bit girly I guess but still good)

For funny, mindless fun I recommend, "Starship Troopers", "Road Trip", or "American Pie"

For an action packed no brainer, I recommend "Star Wars", "Indiana Jones" or "Gangs of New York"

Any type of film doesn't give too much to go on but if you've never seen them then Casablanca, 12 Angry Men or Dr Strangelove are all well worth the time you will spend on them.

On a different tack for a more recent martial arts epic then Fearless is superb. Martial arts comedy (in fact just call it comedy) I'd go for Kung Fu Hustle - if you don't have a grin on your face and a warm fuzzy feeling after watching it then I'm not sure I want to know you. :p

The Prestige!

Christian Bale. Check.
Hugh Jackman. Check.

.

David Bowie. Check.

Michael Caine
Scarlet Johanson

:D

One of my fave films of all time

To one of the above posters, ' I am Legend' amazing? not quite  It's a bog standard conventional American film...

You've picked on I Am Legend but ignored Hancock, Blade 1-2, Undisputed, Rocky 4 and Never Back Down(I'm guessing never having watched it that it will be less than amazing)? :p The rest I'm largely giving the benefit of the doubt to and while I enjoyed Undisputed it is a long way from being what I'd class as an amazing film - to be amazing I'd say it has to either have a brilliant story/great direction/superb performances or some combination of the above and I don't think it does.
