Am I a Bad person?

Just came home to find a car parked over my drive, checked with a few people on the street and it's nothing to do with them.

Walking past it I noticed the Tax disk, December 08. So I have reported it to the DVLA.

Am I a bad person or do they deserve it for parking over my drive?

No they deserve it for not paying the tax, that all the rest of us have to pay, deserves all he gets coming to him.

If you are going to have invalid tax, then you should at least park legally as not to be noticed.

I don't understand why the have the road tax adverts.

Surely they WANT your tax to run out and you forget (or just plain don't care) so they can give you a nice big fine?!?

Well thats what the tin foil hat brigade want you to think, I expect all the technology and effort to catch those who don't pay is quite expensive so they'd rather have the money rather than chasing for it.

there was a car dumped outside my mates house, a battered old fiesta. two punctures, a couple of bent wheels inside the car, and old CRT monitor on the front seat and assorted other junk.

it's tax ran out at the end of Jan, so as soon as it expired my mate rang the DVLA. 2 weeks later it was still there, so he rung the council, who umm'd and err'd for a bit and passed him to another department. week later, someone came out and stuff a sticker on it saying it looked like junk, and would be scrapped in 7 days. it was still there, untouched, when they moved out last week.

phoneing the DVLA wont do a thing apart from costing you the price of the call as they allready know its not taxed
