World's Steepest Rollercoaster - in Britain!

hmm might have to make the trip down there for that one, looks sweet, pretty similar to 'speed' at oakwood park in pembrookshire though

When I read the story earlier at work today my 1st thought was the ride at Thorpe Park looks like the one at Oakwood. I've been on the Oakwood one and the ride is a blast.

I love my coasters and have even been on a RCCGB event at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the past, that was fun, we had an whole hour to ride The Big One.

I just hope one day I can get to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, the ultimate place for coaster fans.

Thorpe Park is such a cool place now. I remember years ago when they only had that Space Station 2000 ride. Now its got the best rides in the country and all concentrated in one little space. Brilliant!
Stealth is awesome - looking forward to trying this beauty out..!

Kingda Ka is the best rollercoaster i've ever ridden. Fastest and tallest rollercoaster in the world... utterly breathtaking experience.

Stealth at Thorpe Park is a miniature version of Kingda Ka. :)

How can something at 112º be "steeper" than something at 90º?

Technically, surely it is impossible to be "steeper" than 90º?

So what is Top thrill dragster? Is it a copy of Kingda Ka or was it built before

Top Thrill Dragster is at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. It was at the time the tallest Top Hat type of coaster until Kingda Ka was built in Six Flags Great Adventure New Jersey.

Cedar Point is the nirvana for coaster fans, 2nd park I suppose would be Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia California. I've been to SFMM but that was in the early 90s before there latest coasters such as X.
