do standard stock cpu coolers work better blowing air through the heat sink or sucking it through or does it not make any difference?
:D

iirc higher RPM fans such as those featured in CPU coolers tend to work best blowing rather than sucking.

It's even better to have one sucking and one blowing. Best of both worlds.

Provided you are stud enough to get 2 girls to do that for you.

Girls what sort of a person do you think I am?

A guy with a girls name who moos? Or... a girl? On the internet? MY GOD!

Anyway, if you only have one fan, it's better to have it blowing, and if you have 2 fans, have one each side, one blowing, the other sucking. Some heatsinks have the fan in the middle so it does both.

Don't think stock coolers have more than one fan. Also the ones I've seen don't give a choice.

Ideally its worth getting a cooler from the likes of Thermalright if you're looking to overclock.
