This will be my first big job going solo. I normally have a friend to watch my back but he's unavailable. I'm feeling very confident about it so it should be a problem doing it on my own.

As I don't have a flashgun I have no alternative but to up the ISO but my excuse to the noisey photos is that they'll look like they are from film and more traditional :p

I'm planning on going more candid so i'll be using my 70-200mm and just going to stand out the way. I'll be talking along the 24-70 to do the necessary family portraits.

So, wish me luck :)

Ohh and at least I have the onboard flash if by some disaster we don't have daylight tomorrow :p

30D, in sig :)

Sorry missed that :D

I shot a christening and thought it was going to be easy but it was a very sunny day with some clouds so the light through the window was a real pain keep changing every few moments. I used my old 17-55mm and a fair bit of ISO and got some cool snaps in the end. Here is a couple of them that may give you some idea's that I can post as they don't have any one in.

How did it go then? Did you manage to get the shots you were hoping? I'm doing one in a couple of months time so i wouldn't mind seeing what you managed to capture.

The christening went fine apart from when I nearly missed the baptism bit!

/strokes his big lens as he got the shot from right at the back :p

As it was a join celebration, it was also an engagement party. The venue afterwards was horrid as there was no lights for some reason, just the natural light coming through the small windows so wasn't overly happy with that. Took the family outside to do some pre-wed wedding type photos :p

Will post some up in a bit as i'm just finishing off the processing.

Ohh and the lighting inside the church was fine, but obvioulsy had to up the ISO. I hate noisy photos though! :(

By a wierd coincidence, I was also at that christening today!! I work with Ste.

Wondered who it was with the L-Glass :p
