Always wanted a red top corsa. Not so long ago I saw an M3 and a nova racing up a hill near me. The M3 got owned but then the front end of the nova started skitting all over the road and he had to back down. I had no chance of catching either of them with my little 150bhp car

I know him, DAZ 1985 is his plate. His cars running some decent power, looks pretty much like a 1.4 Sport which it once was but yeah tis a 2.0 LET and pretty quick.
I've got a slightly played with 1.6 Corsa, aint proud of it, but they can be a lot of fun for not a lot of cash. Wish I had the money for something better!
Some people just aint all that lucky, but living in Stoke doesn't help

Just because it isn't expensive doesn't mean you can't be proud of it mate. I was proud of my extra crappy bottle green 1.0 Polo when I had it!

I have yet to be shamed by a Red top Corsa/Nova, dont tend to see many of them here. It will happen im sure of it, just have to be so careful about who you think you can show up at the traffic light GP as it is so easy to get owned. I tend to think if its a chav in a corsa then dont worry but if its a bloke in his late teens, early twenties on his own then chances are its not your average shopping trolley.
Redtop Corsa's are fun, couple of friends have/had them. The XE lump just loves abuse.
That CLET corsa i would imagine would be running anywhere between 250-280bhp with torque more than likely well over the 300ftlbs.
The CLET is so tunable, a friend of mine who incidentally is on here as well has one running well over 400bhp with similar torque in a Mk4 Astra. Animal is probably the only word to describe it.

I had a similar experience when I thought I'd toy around with this white Nova (Some years ago) that suddenly attached itself to my rear bumper, I pulled over and floored it, expecting to pull away nicely, except he just sailed by and left me for dead!..
