EDAC connectors?

I bought an XLR cable today, 24way, and the other end is EDAC. Is anyone familiar with this sort of connector and where can I buy them from?

Studiospares, CPC, RS, loads of places really, in fact i think a certain high street electronics components store may even stock them.

Cheers, found a few patchbays and standalone connectors also, now I've just got to find which pin goes where, or is there some sort of wiring scheme? I think to connectors are 90 pin or 120 pin...

They don't look as resilient as XLR's, plastic case also, but I'm thinking I may just be able to leave them connected most of the time.

They're not that bad, it was just a running joke i had with a friend of mine, there were some other acronyms we re-defined too, but I've long forgotten them now.

I've heard similar things when referring to amps power, eg "QSC watts" beat "behringer watts"

Cheers for the link, right now I don't have anything to plug them into which is why I'm looking for a patchbay or mixer with EDAC connectors.

If none are out there, I can probably make my own in my spare time...

Luckily i've never personally had to wire an EDAC, i have had to do 96-way Eurocard connectors though. With multicore cables which consist of pairs of a solid colour with a colour with bands.

However, since there are only a finite number of colours the scheme is somthing like

Brown, Brown with White Bands (as a pair)
Brown, Brown with Green Bands
Brown, Brown with Yellow Bands
Green, Green with White Bands
Green, Green with Yellow Bands

You get the idea, basically if you untwist the pairs you're stuffed as you've got no idea which solid colour belongs to which banded colour.
