Volvo s40 2.0d sport or lexus is 220d - trusty VRS must go !

guys, fancy a change, the old VRS octavia mk1 1.8T (which i cannot fault) has server me well but fancy a change,

like the looks of the

s40 2.0d sport or the lexus is220d,

anybody had one or can give me pointers , or have i missed a hiiden treasure

volvo is quite a dull car, it's very nice and comfortable, but not very exciting and not exactly 'sporty'. i suspect the lexus to be a bit more sporty

are you buying new or used? i'd recommend a bmw diesel over those two..

used , and just don't like BMW's have driven loads as "pool cars" and do not like,

need to change VRS as I have a really HEAVY right foot.

looked at the new VRS but once you have had one , fancy a change,

one thing though, due to coaching a team of under 10's need a decent boot for kit and interior that can be cleaned - due to muddy boots kids etc

diesel mk2 vrs estate would seem to tick all the boxes...try one, its a very different drive to the mk1
