I would hazard a guess at this being the main reason for his rampage and serious issues with fellow students and not Counter-Strike.

Playing a FPS doesn't make you an expert in firearms in real life, the same way as my expertise in Elite, doesn't mean I could jump into a Cobra Mk III and make my living privateering and commercing between inhabited star systems.
 
yeah, clearly not CS... i've played cs since i was 10/11 years old, its clearly his weak mind that's caused the problem, not a video game millions of others play.
 
I wonder why we never see any of these stories that read "Corrie fan kills ten" or "killer watched smallville only hours before killing"...

How come they never say "people who are crazy and like shooting people like to play computer games involving guns".

Why is it always the other way around, "people that play games with guns go and shoot people".

I think he was crazy in the firstplace. CS had nothing to do with it.
 
Yay more scapegoating... It's not the fault of computer games, rock music or guns, it's all down to people. The sooner we start addressing the actual causes of these issues, the sooner we will see a reduction in them.

Games don't make me want to kill people, its other people's stupidity while shopping at local Tesco that makes me want to kill people...
 
Germany in psychopathic citizen shocker!

Not sure why he killed himself though, he'd have been far better being rehabilitated in a low security centre and spending his days teaching other kids how not to be a murdering nutcase. Plus he could have walked into any clan.
