So ive noticed this over the years..Im extremely irritable and argumentative on the internet. Im quick to judge and almost always take the negative view of a person over giving them the benefit of the doubt. I am annoying and obnoxious.

The thing is that im almost the complete opposite in real life. Its just on the internet, on forums specifically, that i become like this.

I think a decade of foruming has turned me into a git.

Has anyone else noticed this of themselves? Or is it just me? :o

I wouldn't worry about it. 90% of the internet population you'll never meet anyway, so just be yourself.

Lots of things can be said and taken straight out of context on forums anyway. If someone wants to take offence at what you wrote, no matter how careful you word it, they'll twist it until it meets their argument.

Having a technical approach to things I find I can't go into some threads without ranting and wanting to tell idiots that give out bad advise to shut the **** up, but you learn to mellow and just put point your point across and be done with it. If the OP wants to take your advise and not the retards, all well and good. :D
I've been around the net since about 2000 and not a lot changes TBH.

The internet is for trolls. It always brings out the worse in people because you know they can't harm you :D

In some cases.

I've met one guy who I've played with on CS:S he was such a lairy FAQ it was unbelievable! Then when I met him I just lol'ed. He was the quitest person in the world.
