Just watched this, it’s a good all rounder family film if you love dogs then this is for you.

Basically its life captured in a film. Jennifer and Owen play a very good screen couple and work really well some of the humour coming from Owen is classic! & the dog causes havoc throughout the film and has its cute moments. The ending was totally real and i think had the whole cinema in tears.

Should give the book a read, done by John Grogan himself, even better than the film imho.

Just been to see it too. Very good and again had everyone in tears at the end.

A review is only one man's opinion mate. That said someone would have to pay me well to sit through this emotional tripe (though I could probably make do while Jennifer Aniston was on screen).

I know, he's a legend and I personally like his style a lot. But that doesn't mean that he's always right or that everyone else should always share his opinion.

Losing my dog of 14years a few months ago didn't help

They hit the nail on the head at the end. Did enjoy the film.

Didn't like the ending, exactly reminds me why I shouldn't ever get a dog, I wouldn't be able to cope well with this death... Why can't they live about the same as humans

?

Very good film overall imo though.

Watched this last night with the Mrs.

I cried like a fool but im not ashamed, I have a soft spot for dogs.

I feel sorry for any alpha male that gets dragged to the cinema to watch this and leaves in a wreck !

Great film though !

Good movie, saw this a few months ago..well before it was released here. Quite enjoyable even though i dont like dog movies but this one was kinda cute in a way.
Cant say it made me cry the ending...was sad but not to the extent that it made me cry.

Oh and Jennifer Aniston is hot :cool:

Watched it on Saturday night. Quite enjoyed it. The wife is a big dog lover so she blubbed at the end. The wife would love us to get a dog but what snowdog says is the exact reason I won't get one. Mind you, being allergic to dog hair doesn't help either

Wow, constructive. To be honest, if you didn't feel anything after watching this film you're either incredibly heartless or you just have something wrong with your tear ducts.
