Anyone been stopped at Customs?

Been stopped coming back from france via Calais, had the car searched, bags searched, us lot searched, we had to get out, passports, the whole lot!

Maybe 'cos im 19 and was driving a 2.0L Ghaia MK2 Modeo...looked like i nicked it maybe?

Well i dont know, how many 19year olds are driving 2L injection mondeos?

And the guys at the terminal had guns...big guns...
 
I got stopped on the way to france, I had left a lock knife in my bad from a camping trip, I had just got back and had to pack to go to France. I was absoloutely bricking it. It was such a facepalm moment.
 
coming back from America few years ago and on my way back from Italy last year :( i didnt mind the one in Italy as the lady that stopped me was hot :p
 
I thought I was going to get stopped on the way back from Denmark as I had dog treats in my bag. They usually have a guy with a dog at heathrow and I was thinking this dog would sniff out the treats and everyone would think I was hauling drugs or something lol.
 
stopped by Security in Almaty airport after xray picked up what appeared to be a pistol grip in our bags.

Happily opened up the bag to reveal an old metal handheld video Russian video camera that my wife's father gave us as a present. Still haven't got round to getting it valued, sure it must be a collector's item.
 
I didn't get stopped, but my friend did when we were going to Switzerland on a university trip to CERN. He's a big goth, wears a lot of metal, boots and stuff. He had to strip down to his boxers before they let him through. One of my other friends is from Iran, they actually took away to some room for about 20 minutes.
 
Out of the last 6 times going through US airports I think my Dad has been stopped 4 times. I think I was stopped once but had no real problem.

Had no problems with Japan last year either.
 
Got stopped on the way out to amsterdam which was a bit odd as why would you smuggle stuff into holland :D

Plus got stopped in dover on the way back from calais
 
I went on a chinese exchange with my high school, and on the way back at shanghai airport i was reading the sign what you can and cannot take in your case. The last one was dry ice so i turned round and said, "why cant you take dry ice on the plane." and a friend of mine said, "it sounds like youve got some" *laughing* and i put my finger on my lips and said shush, just joking around but then the light went off and i had to get my case checked, I said to everyone "im not allowed dry ice but zeb can take samurai swords?" When I got my case checked one of my teachers was stood next to me and the customs guy was pulling out cigs, cigars, booze and zippo's it was quite funny but my teacher didnt seem to be arsed really. Down side was I couldn't fit everything back in my case and had to wear 3 jumpers on the flight home.
 
I was stopped on the way to Mexico at Cancun airport when we had to press a button as part of a random search, green you are OK, red you need to be searched. The g/f's went green so she walked on but mine went red.

Me and the Mrs went for a fortnight so we packed half of her clothes in my case and half of mine in hers incase one went missing we'd still have some of our own clothes to wear. We did this at the last minute before leaving for the airport so it was a bit embarrassing seeing bikini's and lace items spring up when the customs officer opened my case.

To be fair he was a nice bloke (as were all Mexicans we met) and made a joke about it saying "Are these yours?" with a cheeky grin. He had a quick poke about in the case and sent us on our way.
 
I'm white, young, male, and british, and I get stopped and have my bags searched pretty much everywhere I go!
 
Got stopped going out of the country! Was going to Magaluf and had all my suitcase emptied for drugs, they even swabbed all my clothes and inside of the suitcase and tested it!
