Resident Evil 5 - The Source of All Evil (360 & PS3)

Really loving this game at the moment, just started the level that was the second level in the demo. Playing on normal at the moment, not too much of a challenge but it's nice to get used to the controls, will defo be playing this on professional when I unlock it.

Start on normal, upgrade your guns and unlock the rocket launcher. Veteran is then easy peasy :p

I just unlocked some crazy huge magnum also  fully upgraded it's power is 5000!

Fancy some co-op sometime? Was gonna do it with my mate, but he only has the PS3 version and I didn't want to get that as it's better on the 360.

Currently playing through Vet on my own and whilst it's quite tough sometimes it's never frustratingly difficult, like the COD games for example. Actually really good fun.

I leave my game open so I do get randoms joining me sometimes which adds to the fun as you never get the same type of player joining you. Would be good to get some OcUKers joining me though so if you see me playing feel free to join in, assuming it shows me as joinable....If not send me a message and I'll invite you.

Picked this up in the end and was quite surprised by it, for the people who are used to a dodgy control mechanism (basically all Resi Games) then it's a pretty solid game.

Not particularly difficult, or long, but enjoyable all the same!

Currently making a run through on Vet with the Gatling gun, serious massacre. :p

With regards to Co-Op I haven't played it yet, how does that work? Can I, for example, join someone elses game with my inventory etc? Or do I take over their partner so to speak with whatever weapons/ammo/herbs etc they already have? (im assuming the latter otherwise I could join with loads of tasty weapons and make their game too easy?!)

Is it a good idea to sell the treasures you find or keep them, do they unlock anything later on?
Any tips on what gun to upgrade?

Sell them, they remain in your inventory as a guide to what you've collected previously anyway. They serve no purpose than to give you money!

I upgraded the second shotgun you get (M7 or something like that) and also the first Magnum you get to almost full, got me through Normal difficulty without any major issues.

You keep your inventory across all games.

If you join a co-op game, you'll be able to pick anything you've already got. At the end of the co-op game, you'll save anything you've picked up. :)

As said already you go into co-op with what you have alrteady collected. Had someone join one of my games with some serious weaponary, and Sheva wearing a mini skirt with bobbed hair. Was quite distracting actually :o

I've played all the resi's over the years and from experience I would normally examine the item (treasure) and if it seems like it can attach with something else, I would keep hold of it. Only becuase you can sell it for a lot more later. From the ones I've collected so far in re5, I'm pretty certain they are just there to be sold so you can get money to upgrade your weapons.

Even when you sell them, they still remain there showing in your inventory, so it still keeps a record of everything you have collected. :)
