to tell me if you can if windows operating system that tried to access the net was the only thing it tried to do thus i will know that everthing is ok .

just incase its happened to anyone else.

He clicked a link in an unexpected email and wants to know if his bank details etc. are going to be harvested......
From the link shown I really couldnt tell him the answer.

but the thing is i'm not subscribed to any threads and when accidently clicked on the link my firewall poped up with a warning. So i'm not sure wtf is going to be honest i just want to be sure as i can that my lappy is messed.

How is that a dodgey link? You have porbably hit subscribe by mistake. Check in your profile it will be there if you have recevied an email with a new post.
