When no one does anything for st.Georges day

Let's see, am I living in England ? Cause it sure doesn't feel like it.

I highly doubt the Irish give such attention to our day

Personally I'd rather see the efforts go in to St.Georges day seeing as 99% of the Irish dislike the English, at least from my experience.

Opinions?

This isn't the first time you spouted nonsense on these forums. How about, instead of moaning about how people celebrate St Patrick's Day you put some effort into celebrating St George's Day? May I ask what age you are?

Hate to tell you this mate but most countries are anti- English Especially the Irish, don't get me started on them.....

i dont see the point, leave it to them over the water.! i hate st/patricks day tbh, of no relevence to us brits....

should try and make a bit more effort about St.George and St.Andrew's day.!

19, and as i said I'm talking from MY experience.

I have 3 Irish friends

All 3 were born in England yet class themselves as irish.
All support Irish football/rugby teams.
All hold an Irish passport
All dislike the English
All live here.

As i say, my experience.

It's not nonsensical, it's called opinion.

So wrong.

My argument is why don't we celebrate a day that has reference to us BRITS in contrast to a day celebrated by a country who decided to become Independent from Britain.
