Anyone here used EBC Red Stuffs?

youll notice straight away they have impressive bite. youll spend the first two days just seeing if you can phase them, but after 3 consecutive laps of the ring in 32* ambient temp i couldnt fade them (not particuarly a braking intensive track, but mine is only a road car)

I'm looking at dixcel (??) brakes for my s2k si, dembo on the forums says they Are superb for track use

Well my cheapo Redstuff and £35 each disks were also 'superb' on the track.

All depends on the driver, some people use their brakes more and have lower corner speeds.

Or people who do late braking/more grippy tyres need good pads.

Edit - Just looked for the S2000, for front and rear pads it only costs £8 more overall to get yellowstuff, so redstuff really isn't worth getting compared to yellow.

discs do seem to vary a bit from one make to another. i dont think ive ever detected a difference in braking abilisty with the same size disc but some wear faster
