My Q6600 running 24/7 @ 3.1 is worth about 6400ppd.

I'm only getting 1800 from a Q6600 at 3GHz
Is there an optimised client available that I need or something?

How can I make it use my GPU and CPU on the same system?

I tried to install another boinc but that automatically removed the old one.

I basically crunch SETI along with the milky GPU units. However currently the GPU client also uses a lot of cpu so you hardly notice SETI being crunched.

You could try one of the zslip SSE2/SSE3 clients ?

I can't find this on vista 64

Extract the files and copy to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC\projects\milkyway.cs.rpi.edu_milkyway

Updated the howto...

Make sure you can see hidden directories within explorer

For Windows Vista use C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\milkyway.cs.rpi.edu_milkyway or wherever you specified the data directory to be during the BOINC install

Yeah it's strange I got 2k from my dual core laptop in just 12 hours !

Uninstall and reinstall. You don't lose any current wus.
