Killzone 2: The OcUk clan is a go!

I purchased my first PS3 last week and have had difficulty moving from mouse and keyboard to pad. I played my first couple of online matches over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised by my progress. Granted, I have only been playing people of similar rank but I’d like to take part in some clan action!

I also have a headset but I don't think PSN chat is working very well for me, it's a bit hit and miss :confused:
 
I should be on tonight, just needing a few badges to have them all, most diffcult i think is the capture and hold 1 as i dont have any ribbons in that at all.
 
Errgh... can someone invite me to clan... I've finished single player on Hard... will be doing Elite but will also be online too :)
 
game on the server when there was just 3 on 3 was good fun, although a little slow on the big maps - thanks to those playing
i know, the smaller team games can be as fun as the bigger games,especially when its 2 on 3 and the 2 gives the 3 a run for their money with a 3-4 scoreline
 
Imo I think about 8-10 a side works best for me. The full 32 player games are just too way too hectic on some maps, especially when you get tacticians on either teams throwing spawn grenades next to each other lol its complete havok!
 
I wanna know what muppet decided to give players a few seconds of invulnerability when they spawn on a smoke grenade. It means that they can chuck one down outside your spawn point and kick the crap out of you as they are invincible for a brief period.

Should be that they're just as vulnerable, would make people think more carefully about where they put a spawn grenade.
 
TBH I think thats a good idea as you also get muppets that wait by the spawn grenades with the cross hair aimed at them so when anyone spawns they get killed straight away. At least if you are invincible for a bit you have a chance to get away or kill them.
 
Peeved right off at the moment, keep getting network error 4512, for starters joined a server where stella was playing got into the top 7 on my team and was disconnected, so i rejoined the same server, had to start from scratch got back into the top 7 and another error, so joined a different server was the top player in my team ahd my 5 kills with c4, was delivering a propganda, had over 50 pts, and another bloody error, finally gave up.

Surely though that's their own fault for spawning on a badly placed smoke grenade? If that starts to happen they then have to spawn back at their base as opposed to being near unstoppable for a few seconds right outside their enemies spawn.
 
Sorry folks I've pretty much given up on this game now, getting tired of the rocket launchers and spawn killing via tactician spawn points, just rather bored of it really.

and by that I mean the game overall, not playing with you guys. :p

I'm giving it a rest for the same reason. GG have stated they are looking into 'balance issues' for the next patch, i'm hoping invincibility when spawning from a smoke grenade will be removed as it'll pretty much put a stop to spawn camping as tacticians would have to place their grenades far more carefully.

I also hope that they'll introduce the ability to find out details about servers, friendly fire enabled ones pretty much obliterate grenade and rocket spam and allow for a much more enjoyable game. However at present there's no way to tell if its FF or not short of joining a server and blowing a teammates head off with a shotgun to check
 
I dont find the rocket launchers and nade lauchers as big pain as you lot seem to do, its annoying when im trying to get the c4 ribbons and they are destroyed by nade spamming, as for the tactian spawn grenades, im sure the spawn shield only lasts for 1-2seconds anyhow and usually they spawn in the opposite direction eg facing thier 'base'
, if you are meaning that when u spawn in on a grenade and are killed then the obvious choice is dont spawn theer, there are good tacts and bad tacts, the good 1s will lay thier spawn point close to the objective but in a safeish place, bad 1s will just throw them anywhere.

Also if these 2 classes bother you, then create your own server and change the settings so that people cant play as assualt or tactican, ive seen a few that dont allow assualt class.
 
It's about time they made the spawn grenade destructable when shot. Solves the problem of spawn camping of which I have seen lots of now and makes the tactician think carefully about where he will place it.

I think it'd make more sense to render them incapable of shooting whilst invincible.
