I got an A with Chris on the first Merc mission, which unlocks another character. Not spoiling who though.
I haven't tried using the gatling gun on them because I don't like the way the gun's backpack blocks off a lot of your view when you have it in your inventory
Personally I prefered Dead Space and if your looking for a survival horror game then you can't go wrong, it's excellent.

Well managed to get my A on first and second ^^; woo
goddamn this is tight on the score, was 42k on first map I had for the A.
I then looked at the leaderboards ...
How teh ******** **** god ******* ***** ******* ***** are you meant to get 400k+
I've had a quick look around and there seems to be the use of one char that all the top scorers have on the first map, had a quick blast as this char and....
Not a clue
Anyone seen any videos of anyone scoring anywhere near 400k ?

It's pretty fair to call Dead Space a survival horror because it actually has the horror element.
Surpasses RE now to be fair too.

The online co-op is kinda confusing! Say im playing single player and im near the end of a chapter at a save point and i quit to help a friend who's stuck on a chapter back near the start of the game when i come back to my single player game i have to start at the beginning of the chapter i was doing and all my items are what my friend had?! Why can't it just be like GOW co-op!
It was a very resident evil ending. Just fly off into the sunset. I was hoping for a cliffhanger or something
The location certainly wasnt........
I had a mad gaming session on this Sunday night with my housemate. Played through coop until 7am, started at half 5 the evening before with a break for fish and chips. First time i've been gripped by a game so much, must buy.

worst game of this year for me

Key seems to be timing around when you use your combo bonuses vs loads of enemies at once. I use the following tactics:1: Collect all time bonuses and only shoot if you have to otherwise avoid everything until all time bonuses are collected.
2: Now carefully plan a route so that you use the combo bonus when you have at least 5 or more zombies near you and also try to time it so that you can explode a barrel or use a grenade on them at the same time. I managed to get a x17 combo bonus which helps a lot.
3: Stomp whenever you can as this gives you +5 secs time. So shot then if they are on the ground stunned but not dead stomp them.
4: Spend the rest of the time going back around the level collecting ammo & opening barrels but ensure you avoid being killed before time runs out otherwise you lose your hard earned combo bonus.
