Hey Guys,

I have been scanning hundreds of websites looking for the best electric citrus press under £50 delivered.

There are two I have my eyes on and simply I need to order it today. So please help me choose between these two models.

I am right now considering either the citristar by tribest which has a 80 watt motor or the easy health penguin juicer which is 100 watts. Now I read at tribest's site it said in the USA the citristar runs at 50 watts while in the UK with our power system it runs at 85 watts. Here is a cut and paste 'Powerful motor for highest extraction results and quiet operation. Enhanced durability. (50 watts for 110V machines, 85 watss for 220V machines)'

Now the easy health penguin juicer in the UK is the same price of the citristar which is £49.95 including VAT and free delivery.

The penguin juicer is 100 watts and can juice pomegranates but it sits upright where as the citristar is slanted over which I hear helps juice flow and stops the pulp from plugging up. Can the citristar juice pomegranate or is it just not powerful enough?

I simply want a fast citrus juicer under £50 that can do oranges, limes, lemons, pomegranates, and work well, which one is better? Please take a look at each site. I can't find any reviews on the penguin juicer but it is made by an excellent company that for years have been making wheat grass juicers and other kitchen appliances. I think it's a British company. Also the penguin juicers is made of a stainless steel body and screen. Where as the citristar just has a stainless steel screen.

I really hope you guys can help so I can order it today

any help much appreciated

Many many thanks in advance

I prefer good detailed reviews. It may be a juice machine. But a lot of them don't work as intended and are rushed to market and end up being a load of rubbish. £50 to me is a lot of money and I would prefer to use it wisely getting the best juicer for my budget that works well and doesn't just sit on the shelf gathering dust.

I went out and bought the Philips HR 1858/50 juicer back then and it's superb. But I am not after a juicer now. I am after a citrus presser.

Are they not the exact same thing?

Edit -

Q1 - What is the end result if you put an orange in a juicer?

Q2 - What is the end result if you put an orange in a citrus presser?

Answer to both - JUICE!

Yes they both offer juice, but juicers tend to get some of the pulp in the juice where as citrus pressers well the good ones don't get much pulp.

Lol i'd love to see the hours and hours of dedicated research dvdbunny would put into an important purchase like a car. would it be millions of websites he would search through then?
